We value a multiracial church family that knows and stands up for the Truth. We know that the Truth is Jesus Christ (John 14:6); and that the Truth is God’s Word (John 17:17). Therefore, we will proclaim that Jesus is the Truth to a lost and dying world, and will teach God’s Word without compromise. Moreover, we believe that the Holy Bible is inspired by God.
Family
We value a multiracial church family that knows the importance of family in society. We value a multiracial church family that values marriage as an institution that God established in Creation (Genesis 2:24), and as the foundation of the family. Moreover, we value the fact that the family unit is the foundation of society. We acknowledge that society reflects the family unit in terms of relationships and values. Furthermore, we acknowledge that the church is a family of believers as well. Therefore, we will strive to emphasize the importance of marriage, the family unit, the family of God, and the sanctity of human life.
Relationships
We value a multiracial church family of believers that are committed to forming and maintaining relationships with family, other believers, and God. Therefore, we will strive to form and maintain relationships through small groups (Acts 2:42), corporately, and personal devotionals to God.
Diversity
We value a multiracial church family of believers that are committed to diversity in terms of race (Acts 13:1), spiritual gifts (Ephesians 4:1-16; 1 Corinthians 12), and music style, not doctrine. We are a family who loves one another regardless of our differences. Therefore, we acknowledge and are committed to maintaining diversity among the congregation and leadership.
Reconciliation
We value a multiracial church family of believers that are ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5: 17-21). Therefore, as ministers of reconciliation, we will seek the lost and get them to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. Moreover, as the Body of Christ, we will seek to be reconciled to one another spiritually, racially, and relationally.
Excellence
We value a multiracial church family of believers that strive for moral excellence, because Jesus gave His best (Col. 3:23-24). Therefore, we will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ so we will not stumble (2 Peter 1:1-10). Moreover, we will strive to honor Him by maintaining a high standard of excellence in all our ministries and activities
Involvement
We value a multiracial church family of believers that are co-laborers with God (1 Corinthians 3:5-10). Therefore, The House of God (THOG) will consist of believers who are actively involved in the various ministries of the church. In addition to other ministries of the church, all our members will be involved in the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians. 5:17-21) — reconciling one another to God first and then to man.
Justice
We value a multiracial church family of believers that are just and stand for social justice. Since God is a just God (Deuteronomy 32:4), He wants His children to be just (Leviticus 19:13-15; Romans 1:16-18; Romans 3:25-29). Therefore, we will strive to do justice to everyone (Psalm 82: 2-5), for justice is personal and it deals with the way we treat one another. If we do justice to one another, then we truly love one another.
