The Grace-Trinity UCC sanctuary choir is an effective tool for leading the congregation into the presence of God. It caters to those spiritual needs of the people that can be met through music and the ministry of the choir. It heartens and encourages us to see the excellent participation rate of our choir members at all the musical renderings, and their steady, regular attendance at our rehearsals.
Our aim, as a team, is to enhance and deepen our worship experience at Grace-Trinity, and to encourage all of us to draw closer to God and be open to the Holy Spirit. We are open to new members. It is not mandatory to be a virtuoso singer in order to join the choir. It is more important to have the desire to worship God and to serve His church.
Our choir truly represents a team effort to promote the element of prayer through music.
I am constantly amazed by the patience, commitment, devotion and versatility of the choir members. They enrich our experience of special worship services through their Choral renderings. Their beautiful singing in four part harmony is an additional boost to the worship services on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and Easter services.
